Leaving on a jet plane

August 28, 2008

I’d be leaving on a jet plane in… When everyone is standing at the parade square waiting for the national anthem to play, I’d be soaring over clouds.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Alisa!

If my Saturday was assimilated to a hamburger, the nuggets of wisdom that I have to chew onto its fillings, man, I would take forever to digest the portion! It is simply hallucinogenic!

Honey was diagnosed with 1st stage cancer yesterday night when I deliberately climbed out of my bed to check on how he was doing. The small speck of dead pixel smack in the middle of the screen triggered the panic alarm buried within the heart. What followed was a vehemently loud bawl, insinuating a cry for help.

While pending for a feasible solution, the wait abetted the mind to recollect vivid good old memories shared with the spouse, as well as what could have caused the defect. The mind was only at ease after all the intricate documenting had been dealt with. Thank God for warranty cards. Honey will be undergoing chemotherapy when Sony replies.

Today I heard a loud thud which made my heart dropped ten feet down before I retrieved it back again, just like how one handles a damped stringed yo yo. Apparently the boy whom my mum babysits, reaped the consequences of his mischievous acts when he opened Pandora’s box, despite warnings. Words do fall on deaf ears, sometimes. I wondered if I was like that.

The hard landing released a loud wail across the living room. This scenario was so completely different relative to the one when a thick, calloused palm, almost thrice its size, came into contact with his small delicate palms at a speed no greater than the speed of lightning. This time, no cries. It seems that every burn makes us more immuned to burns.

Though my heart goes out to the boy whom was being unjustly treated like a prisoner held in captive, we cannot deny Newton’s 3rd Law. Sometimes, cries are silent mainly because they do not come from the victim, but they come from the person administering the punishment.

Let me walk on Your feet.

I have this strong feeling that I am suffering from the Romans 7:19 seizure. There is an Economics paper to sit for in less than 12 hours yet I have the audacity to be spotted right in front of the screen, delving for solutions to excessive hair loss and everything else but reading off the stack of notes.

Can anyone identify?
