Scenario 1: If your favourite superstar were to stand outside your door right now, are you going to tell them to hold a minute, because you would need to tidy the house, take a shower and don on new clothes before welcoming them in?
Scenario 2: If your favourite superstar were to stand outside your door right now, are you going to tell them to hold a minute, because you would need to sieve the flour, arrange the flowers and do your homework before welcoming them in?
Scenario 1 is what I call the lack of priority while scenario 2 is what I deem as lame; sheer foolisness.
Assimilate this with the context of our ministry. All the letters that you have written to God, are they nothing but empty promises?

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
What would you do if Jesus was outside your door?

Good entry for us to think about our readiness…. I guess this is best illustrated with the parable of the ten virgins.
Let’s live each day with impact for Christ!
