Hi there, Sinner

September 30, 2007

God led me to a situation which highlighted how much of a sinner I was.

Repents.

Super Saturday

September 30, 2007

It’s already 5 days past my birthday yet I am still receiving belated messages. Thank you Ryan, Janice, Samuel and Leon!

Yellow Zen Stone

The Central F pillars were very sweet! They surprised me with a greenish yellow ZenStone, followed by a short affirmation. Thank you Zachary, Ricwan, Desmond, Jem and Keith! Extra credits to my fellow humsup for the presentation of the birthday song!

By uploading the video above, I created a new name for myself: A bum

The caregroup was super duper sweet as well! On top of the celebration that they held for me on Monday, they presented me with another video today at Europe Room! It was more of a devastating treat because, the third service people who were at the reception happen to see the unglamarous pictures of myself! Nonetheless, I really admire all the hard work, blood and sweat that you guys poured out to make my 17th so memorable. I love you, dearest caregroup!

Anyway, the Central F CLs met up today to comfirm our direction from God! It was a tad discouraging to hear of it, and it is definitely not a chicken feet task, especially when you are no longer talking about numbers. Still I am dead convicted and I have faith that it will happen.

Just you see.

Movie Marathon

September 29, 2007

The Pursuit of Happyness

I missed out the last 20 minutes because Channel 8 was screening something more appealing to my tastebuds! A pretty touching story, though it was a tad draggy. The little boy was really sweet!

Secret

The twist in the movie scared me out of my wits. The ending was so abrupt I am quite sure you will react the very same way I did. What! That’s the end!

One item off my checklist, but I am still game for more!

Movie marathon to mark the celebration of the end of Promos was not the very first item on my to-do list. The initial plan was to head out to West Coast Park with some of my sheep, spend some time, burn some calories, and play to our hearts’ content. Many thanks to my swollen left eye which made it almost impossible for me to open it, I had to cancel all appointments and head somewhere else to rest in hope that the swelling would cease. Thank God, it got better through the entire of yesterday and now I am feeling so well and alive! Prayer works wonders.

The above paragraph made my day sound very monotonous, but I would beg to differ. What’s movie marathon without your friends’ company, free flow of junk food and 1 hour of rest without air conditioning and Mingyan’s constant bugging? It was a sinful treat though. I shall do some sports in the next three days to make it up!

Thank you dearest caregroup for the gigantic photo collage with my face all over the board, and coming to “surprise” me with the chocolate cake! I love it very much! It’s.. currently around on the floor as it is in the picture.

Thank you Foo, Lau and Yip for the photo collage, big bag of marshmallows and flower! Through the months you know me, I must have been labelled a glutton. Whose idea is it to stuff me with such a big bag of marshmallows? Haha.

Thank you Rachelle for the post delivery! My mum thought it was from overseas and I was so damn happy until I found out it was from you, I became even happier! I really thought you forgot about it. Too bad I did not receive it directly from the post man. I love you much, Sexy!

Thank you Dad and Mum for granting me the permission to go for missions! This has got to be the best birthday present as well as an instant answered prayer of which I will share with my caregroup on Thursday!

Thank you Mum for offering to subsidise me for my missions trip!

Thank you Uncles, Aunties and Granny for the red packets!

Thank you Charmaine for the bracelet!
