Perpetual faith

August 30, 2007

Slow

The engines malfunctioned. But they are slowly recuperating, slowly warming up, and slowly gaining the momemtum.

My top priority love language has been instinctively working towards my advantage this week. Thank you everyone who made it special in someway or another. I had a rollin’ good and valuable time spent with my two girls this week, and I absolutely love the simultaneous sharings. (:

This is what happen when you incur less than 3 hours of sleep in a day. Another probable cause could be the goofy idea to walk up the steps to OCH entrance before our breakfast.

Report hits headline: Girl, 17, skips school

August 28, 2007

Have you read it in the news?

Starbucks

It all began with an sms that was sent while the subject was still in a state of subconsciousness, at 548am. Yay permission granted. I can skip school today! Fill me in on what I miss out okay? Study hard!

On the 27th of August, the subject, Xanthe. 17, committed the act of skipping school, along with ally, Melissa, 17. According to reports, the duo were seen mugging hard at the reputable Starbucks Cafe at Holland Village. No actions were taken on the dyad throughout their sojourn. The weather was superb; the ambience was placid; and their minds were functioning at full capacity, so much so that they managed to cover one-and-a-half Economics Package contents. The act was de facto a blessing in disguise. Unrepentant from their mistakes, or rather hooked on to the habit, Melissa suggests that they should execute such plans often since it benefits them. Xanthe concurs with that statement by nodding.

Time will heal all wounds

The Constant Gardener

Not any blockbuster movie but it is one of those that kept my eyes ajar and intriguingly got me seated at the edge of the chair. I have to admit that the movie was laudable. I never appreciated such works, but today mark a brand new episode.

It could get a tad uncomfortable though to have your butt glued to the concrete red seats for a choking two hours. What more can you expect? It’s LT4. We shall dispel that factor in account of it being FOC, as well as the awesome company of my dearest girlfriends, a pack of VitaSoy and a sinful toast. GP Enrichment Talk was very enriching indeed.

Occasionally I do sympathize with the external vendors that come all the way to give (uninspiring) inspirational talks. The cohort is a whole lot of unresponsive bunch, even I myself identify with that. Still I wonder how and why these people would not be disturbed albeit being oblivious to the, I am sleeping; please do not disturb expressions that we paint on our faces. I decided to go for a change by giving a portion of my attention span to the speaker. Unimaginably, this video caught my eye and evoked numerous clouds of thought. On one hand, I felt many grievances for the boy. On the other, as I pondered deeper, the doubts redoubled itself.

If I had ten years to live, I would…
If I had one year to live, I would…
If I had one month to live, I would…
If I had one day to live, I would…
If I had one minute to live, I would…
if I had one last breath to breathe, I would…

I only have one life to live, what would I do with it?

Only one life and soon it will past;
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Let’s take the world.
